FAQ
Questions
What cannot be treated here?
Emergencies. If you may be having an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Controlled substances are not prescribed.
Which pharmacy fills an urgent-care prescription?
Non-controlled prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred local pharmacy when appropriate. The care network's partner pharmacies are The Pharmacy Hub and GoGoMeds, both licensed pharmacies.
How is my identity verified?
Before your first visit you upload a valid photo ID and a photo of yourself, and the two are matched. This protects your records and is required before a provider can treat you.
Who will I see, and how do I know who they are?
A licensed U.S. provider — a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant licensed in your state. At the start of your visit the provider introduces themselves by name and title, and their name, title and any board certifications are shown to you.
When do I give consent to telehealth care?
During intake, before you speak with a provider, you review and give informed consent to receive care by telehealth. Your provider confirms it again at the start of the visit.
Who can see my medical records?
Only the people directly involved in your care — your treating provider, a dispensing pharmacy when something is prescribed, and support staff who need it to help you. Records are kept inside a HIPAA-compliant platform.
How do I reach my provider after the visit?
Through your secure patient portal, where you can message the provider who treated you or wrote your prescription at any time. You are alerted when a new message arrives.
Whose name will appear on my card statement?
Either Risen MD or leguprecovery.com — our care network bills through its own payment processor, so the merchant name depends on which one processes your product. Both are us. The price you see here is the price you are charged; there are no separate fees.
What is not offered through the care memberships?
Controlled substances are not prescribed. Medical-marijuana certifications and abortion medications are not offered. Emergencies are not treated here — if you may be having an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
